1) The men laughed because they are laughing at books they know by memory.
2) Montag still cares about Mildred because he's not a bad person.
3) The hands of grangers grandfather and Mildred symbolize the characters by the grandfather making toys for children. Mildred doesn't really symbolize anything because he hasn't done anything.

What I See In Literature.

Gatsby:
ALLUSION: In Gatsby Fitzgerald uses allusion to talk about characters or events.
FORESHADOWING: Early in the Story foreshadow was used to tell that Daisy and Gatsbys relation ship was not going to work out.
IMAGERY: Throughout the story Fitzgerald uses imagery so we can visualize what is going on in our heads.

Denouement: means Resolution
Gatsbys Father soon finds out that his son was murdered. And nobody shows up to Gatsbys funeral.

What I Learned Today!

King Midas could touch anything he wanted to and it would turn into gold but Daisy is still never happy. Yes we can consider music to be literature. Music is imaginative and a creative work. The difference between a poem and rap is nothing. They are the same because rappers write poems and use those as there lyrics. Some rappers also like to tell stories in their songs.
