Vocabulary

Allusion: reference to something the author thinks we should already know.
Foreshadow: a warning of indication.
Diction: The words author uses to tell a story.
Syntax: how the author puts the words together in the story.
Theme: the main idea of the story.
Validity: the quality of being logically or factually sound.
Syllogism: Premise 1. Premise 2- conclusion
